The Ethnikos Collection is a childrens product line of playthings consisting of toys,alphabet book and App that teach literacy, diversity, animal facts, numeracy, rhymes, geography and good morals. Ethnikos goes beyond offering toys ,dolls and animals in an ethnic version but offers a cornucopia of educational information for children.

Ajuma Ataguba is the creative force behind Ethnikos Collection and the CEO of the Learning Gate.She is an education consultant , Toy designer and author.

Background

ETHNIKOS collection is based on my childhood influences with my collection of dolls. My earliest hobby involved making clothes for my plastic dolls from fabric swatches of African Print.

 

Meaning of ETHNIKOS
The Name Ethnikos is derived from a Greek word meaning ‘Nations’. The Ethnikos Collection™ (name derived from the word ethnic) was conceptualized with the aim of establishing a connection amongst peoples of the world through specialized themes, characters, and materials.
